Delete your Candiwize account
You can delete your Candiwize account, and everything in it, at any time. Deleting it takes effect at once and cannot be undone.
In the Candiwize app
Open Profile, then Account, then Delete your account. Confirm with your password, or with a 6-digit code we email you if you sign in with Google or LinkedIn. The account is deleted straight away, and you are signed out on every device.
Without the app
Write to support@candiwize.com from the address you sign in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. We check by email that the request comes from you, then delete the account within one month, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
Your profile, your CVs and every file you uploaded, your applications with their tailored résumés, cover letters and emails, the contacts found for them, your scheduled emails, your connected Gmail mailboxes (their access is revoked at Google), your phones' notifications and every signed-in session.
A paid plan
A running subscription is cancelled first, so you are not charged again. Payment records are kept by our payment provider, Stripe, for as long as the law requires.
